Lesson Policies
Missing lessons can really put things out of tune and we understand things come up! However, your results and progress as a musician are always the best when lessons are consistent, so here is our process and the 'why' behind it.
Tuition Based enrollment
Our studio is a tuition-based program. Similar to a school, your tuition secures a fixed, recurring slot on our master calendar. This reservation covers the dedicated time of your instructor. Because this time is committed exclusively to your family for the semester, we do not offer refunds, credits, or rollovers for absences.

Spring Semester: January – May
Summer Semester: June – August
Fall Semester: September – December
Opportunities for a rescheduled lesson
-
24-Hour Cutoff: Fill out a Reschedule Request Form a minimum of 24 hours' notice is strictly required to be added to the Reschedule List. More notice for any changes will allow our administrative team the best possible window to find a matching opening for you. Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours' notice are forfeited and not eligible for a move, even in the event of illness.
-
Reschedue List: We monitor the calendar for a gap due to another cancellation and will alert you of an opening. Because we are a fixed-capacity program that operates on very specific driving routes, alternative time slots are rare and never guaranteed.
-
Sibling Swap: You can utilize your lesson time for a sibling or parent in the original student's place.
-
Sunday Studio Sessions: If a weekday gap isn't found, we offer lessons one Sunday afternoon per month at one of our designated studios with an Assistant Director. These sessions are the final opportunity to fulfill any outstanding reschedule credits for the month.

At the heart of this policy is our commitment to our instructors. By maintaining a stable, predictable schedule, we are able to retain the elite faculty you know and love in a sustainable teaching position with predictable income.
Safety & Supervision Policy
To ensure a safe and professional environment for both our students and instructors, our studio maintains a strict Supervision Requirement.
-
Adult Presence: An adult (parent, guardian, or designated caregiver) aged 18 or older must be present in the home for the entire duration of the lesson, from the instructor’s arrival to their departure.
-
Drop-off/Departure: Instructors are not permitted to enter the home or remain with a student if a responsible adult is not present. If an adult is not on-site upon the teacher's arrival, the lesson will be forfeited.
