ABOUT OUR SPEAKER
Miriam Morales is a musician with over 25 years of piano experience and a background in multiple instruments. She holds a Bachelor of Music Media in Piano Performance from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary.
With 10 years of teaching experience, she has worked with music studios, nonprofits, and churches across the DFW area, including the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Dallas, Big Thought, Junior Players, and Arts Net.
She currently serves as Executive Director of New Song Music Academy, where she has guided 300+ students and led a team of 20+ members. Miriam is an experienced business owner in music education and believes anyone can become a lifelong musician.

1. Is prior musical experience required for participation?
No prior musical background is necessary. Strike a Chord is specifically curated for absolute beginners. Our instructors provide step-by-step guidance through foundational concepts, ensuring all participants feel confident and supported regardless of their experience level.
2. What materials are participants expected to provide?
All necessary equipment is provided by our team. Participants are not required to bring any specialized gear or prepare in advance.
3. What is the duration and structure of the session?
The program consists of a 45-minute intensive piano instruction session followed by a 15-minute interactive segment. This concluding period includes a live musical performance and a Q&A session, offering an opportunity for team reflection and networking.
4. What are the venue requirements for the session?
Our program is designed for full mobility. We can effectively utilize standard conference rooms, executive lounges, or open-plan office spaces. The only requirements are access to standard power outlets and sufficient space for the participants to be seated comfortably.
